Unexpected Acquaintance

She is afraid, she was worried, she was pressured, she was hurt, . . . she is sad.

She thought no one can understand her. She kept it on herself, showing that she’s strong. Not letting others to know her weakness.

But, she never knew, an unexpected acquaintance will visit her, giving her the comfort that she thought will mend her brokenness. She was befriended with him, finding a deceitful security. She was always with him, anywhere, everywhere. She forgot everything, focusing on her so-called friend.

He’s always on her mind, from the moment she opens her eyes – dominating her whole life, dictating her actions. Until sleepless nights came along, terrified on whatever tomorrow may come.

Days, weeks, months have passed, being with him by her side. Until one day, realization came on, that her so-called friend betrayed her, corrupting her mind for all the negativities in life. Encouraging her to give up everything she have, and giving her the last answer on her questions – ending her life to escape from the troubles she has.

She tried her best to forget him, to avoid her unexpected acquaintance. Finding another way to escape from the blindness he has caused her, but, there will always be a scratch on her memories.
